Can i import bookmarks from firefox to internet explorer

It also lets you import other data, such as browsing history and Search Support Search. Note: This article was written for Windows but generally applies to Mac, when Microsoft Edge is installed. To start the Import process on macOS you can click File in the Firefox menu bar at the top of the screen, click Import from Another Browser… , select Microsoft Edge in the Import Wizard window that opens and then follow the prompts to choose what data to import. You will see a list of the browsers that are installed on your computer.

Select the browser from which you want to import favorites, and then click Import. If you want to transfer only certain favorites from Firefox, you can transfer the links manually. In Firefox, click Bookmarks on the menu bar, and then click Organize Bookmarks. In Internet Explorer 11, click Open on the File menu. Click Browse , and then locate the folder to which you saved the bookmarks.

The file is immediately opened and includes a blue underlined link list. To include one of these links as a favorite, right-click the entry , and then click Add to favorites. Select a folder, and then click Add. Repeat steps 9 and 10 for all the bookmarks that you want to transfer.
